The rooms at the Albergo Colonne, in the heart of the Sacro Monte di Varese, offer a bright and panoramic stay.

All rooms have a private terrace overlooking the pre-Alpine lakes, where you can start your day with the mountain light or end it at sunset. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, ideal for both short stays and for those who want to stay a few more days and experience the slow pace of the Sacro Monte.

The elegant finishes, such as pink marble, parquet floors, antique furnishings, and exposed beams on the ceilings, are the distinctive elements of this property.

Thanks to its privileged location, the hotel is the perfect starting point for exploring the Sacro Monte and Campo dei Fiori area, through its promenades and trails (also open to bicycles), the Art Nouveau and Rationalist architecture that are the pride of the city of Varese, the local lakes, Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands, and even the cities of Milan and Como.

Junior Suite

The most spacious rooms in the property, ideal for extended stays. Double rooms with a king-size bed and a sofa bed that can accommodate up to two people. Private bathrooms with elegant pink marble finishes and a shower. All rooms have a private 9m2 furnished loggia where you can enjoy the view of Campo dei Fiori and Lake Varese. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have a spacious walk-in closet. The finely restored period furnishings give each room a unique and original character, in keeping with the surrounding environment.

Deluxe

Double rooms ideal for 2-4 night stays, perfect for enjoying the beauty of a night atop the Sacro Monte. There are five deluxe rooms, all double, one of which can be twin.
♦ Room 1 is more spacious with a panoramic loggia and a private bathroom with shower;
♦ Rooms 6, 7, 9, and 10 have a panoramic terrace, spread over two levels with a bathroom upstairs; the rooms can be connected to create two rooms for up to 4 people.
All offer fabulous panoramic views of Campo dei Fiori Park and Lake Varese. Recently renovated, they are equipped with every comfort and feature antique furnishings that make them unique and elegant.

The “romantic” double room features a small balcony overlooking the arrival station of the historic Sacro Monte funicular. Enjoy the ride in the historic cabins without sacrificing the peace and quiet of the mountain view, including a glimpse of the Grand Hotel Campo dei Fiori, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset every evening.
